Fall

What a busy fall! Our trip to NY was exhausting but amazing. George and Emily's wedding was simply stunning! It was great to see family even though it seemed to happen in short spurts. Thank you to everyone for taking time to visit and spend time with us! Since we have been home things have been a bit hectic. Carson has had a pretty bad ear infection and then nursemaids elbow (Yes I got the mother of the year award for that one!). Grandma Nora was here for a visit and we carved pumpkins, Bryce and Carson went to their first concert to see imagination movers, and Bryce started hockey lessons(Well skating since he technically can't stand yet! B Turns the Big 3!!!

It's hard to believe that Bryce is already 3! We had his birthday this past Sunday and he had so much fun! It was supposed to be a super hero/princess themed party and B was dressed like Superman but it was a little too hot out to stay in the costume. He ran around with his friends all evening....by the end of the night it was way past his bedtime and he was laying on the kitchen floor reading a book with Aunt Lynn insisting that he wasn't ready for bed. Here are some pictures from the party.

On Monday B and Trav went and flew a kite.....
then off for a quick dip in the pool!

Baby It's HOT Outside!

So its been in the 90's down here since Friday and it's pretty darn hot! It's been a while since we posted an update. Not a whole lot has been going on down here. Kiki still is not walking though tonight while standing alone she did start to shufle one of her feet....any day now! Bryce continues to amaze us and say the funniest things. We are still working on potty training and he loves to announce to people when he has had an accident......the cable guy, people in the gas station...anyone who will listen really!

We had a great time this weekend with Grandpa D and Nana P!

Carson had a rough weekend. We had to take her to the Dr on Saturday with a 104.5 fever and it turns out she had strep throat which is fairly uncommon for children that age. Though Grandpa and Nana didn't get to see the trouble maker that she can be they did get a lot of cuddle time with her since she just wanted to be held. Bryce had fun taking everyone into the bathroom to show them his flashlight....I think Grandpa was in there the most with him...they also had fun looking at different sea animals on line talking about our trip to the beach this summer.

Snow in March.......in NC........HUH????

What the heck! It should be at least 60 out!!!!! Well we stayed home from school today though I am still working. Bryce had been wanting to go out an play all morning so we headed out after lunch for a little. He had so much fun! It is about 30 out which is really cold down here and we don't have a ton of cold weather gear so we didn't stay out for long! I know the snow is heading up to everyone up north so have fun with that!!!!!!

Good Golly Miss Molly

We had a great time this past weekend with Molly. I think by the end of the weekend she was definitely ready to get back to the city for some peace and quiet! We went to the museum and saw some dinosaurs, Molly was sweet enough to watch the kiddies so Travis and I could head out to dinner one night (thanks Moll!), we went running, watch movies, and of course went shopping!!

In other news.......

Carson got her first tooth last week when I was in Dallas for work. I was so sad to have missed it but it grows a little more every day!

Well there is not much to report down here. They are saying we are going to get 4 inches of snow tonight and the whole state is shutting down. Carson is army crawling everywhere and getting into EVERYTHING. She can crawl around then get into the sitting position and yesterday she pulled herself up into the standing position on the toy chest! Our days are numbered......I guess it is time to start babyproofing the house again. Carson definately is going to be a trouble maker! Bryce is doing great.....everyday he comes up with something new and hillarious to say. Here are some pictures from their bath yesterday!
