Yesterday was exhausting but so much fun. Bryce had to open then play with each and every gift he got before moving onto the next.........we had to take 2 breaks so it too FOREVER!!!!!

All About Christmas

Well it's all about Christmas in the Crofut house. B wakes up every morning and asks if it's Christmas and can't wait to get another treat from his advent calender....Carson of course has no idea what is going on but loves to look at the lights on the tree.




















The weekend before last Rory and Lynn were kind enough to invite Santa over to their house. Bryce was nervous at first but after he saw Gigi and Carson sit on his lap and come out alive he was all about listing out everything he wanted....big spiderman, big hulk, big iron man, the list goes on........Carson just tried to pull off Santa's beard.




















Last weekend was the candycane hunt. Of course we were late and ended up missing the hunt part but the folks there were kind enough to give us a box of candy canes to throw out in the grass so the kids could run around and pick them up.

Happy day after Thanksgiving!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We had a fun day - Thanks to the Langworthy's for having us over! We are starting to get into holiday mode. Since running errands today is out of the question I think we are going to do some decorating. Travis is going to pull out our beautiful fake tree...so exciting!


Last weekend we went to the Raleigh Christmas Parade. Bryce clapped along to some of the marching bands and was so excited to see a monster truck.....after that he lost interest.


Carson didn't care much about the parade but she looked awfully cute all bundled up!


Yesterday Bryce was a huge help cooking.......he helped wash dishes.....hahahahahahah

The Past Couple of Weeks in Pictures

Wow so we have been so busy lately! The fall is such a fun time and the weather down here has been amazing. We have been doing great. Bryce is talking more and more everyday and Carson is all smiles!


Here are a couple of pictures from our second trip to Hillridge Farms for Kayden's 2nd birthday party.







The weekend before Halloween we went to a "Spooktacular" event in Wake Forest. It was a good test run for Bryce to see if he would be too scared of all of the other kids dressed up. The only time he got nervous was when he saw Iron Man....he was excited to see him but didn't want him coming too close so he kept his eye on the kid and walked around him never even blinking once!







This past weekend Grandma Nana (Gramie) came to visit. Bryce kept her on her toes and it took her a while to get used to "boy" toys but fun was had by all!


Kiki didn't go trick or treating but B did and he had so much fun! He wore that costume everyday last week!






Sunday was race day. Kelly and I did the Raleigh City of Oaks Half Marathon. We didn't finish in record time but we finished!!!!!!!!!!




Sunday afternoon was a big to do because it was the Jets vs Buffalo game.......of course we had to have a party! The kids had a scavenger hunt and decorated cookies and we all had a ton of fun and it was topped off by the JETS WINNING!!!!!!!!!!!

B's First Field Trip

Thursday was B's first school field trip to Hill Ridge Farms in Youngsville NC. There was so much to do.....animals, mazes, train rides, and a tractor hay ride to get pumpkins! Bryce had so much fun and of course it was even better because he was able to have two of his best buddies with him!

Carson had so much fun on her first train ride she couldn't stop kicking her arms and legs around!

When it came time to pick out a pumpkin Bryce had quite the work out. It actually turned into a bit of pumpkin chunkin towards the end.......he loves to throw stuff!!!!!!!

Even though it was practically 90 degrees out we had a lot of fun. The kids were whiped out at the end of the day and settled down for a little R&R.

Grandpa and Nana Kinsellas Visit

So Grandpa and Nana came to visit this past weekend and we had a lot of fun. We tried the Wake Forest Farmers Market, picked up some pumpkins and had a nice visit. Bryce had a lot of fun playing with Grandpa and acting silly. Of course on Sunday when the time came for them to leave he was devastated and cried. Even later on in the evening we mentioned them and B yelled out for Nana and looked around only to whimper when he realized they were not here.....so cute but sooooo sad!

Carson Weighs In

Carson had her 6 month appointment this past week and she is doing great! She is up to 15lb 6 oz and growing every day. We got the OK to start with food but so far we have just tried rice cerial which she loves. Bryce is still loving school and is talking constantly though we usually don't know what he is saying. I think he spoke to his aunt Megan on the phone the other day for like 10 minutes.......probably just breathing into the phone or talking about football.

First Day of School

So B had his first day of Pre-School on Monday.....now I know he has been in daycare and gone to summer camp but this still was a big step. He was so excited and did so well. While other little kids were getting out of their cars screaming Bryce hopped out and said "Bye Mom!"



Carson is 6 months old today! We have her appointment next week to get all her stat's so I will update then. She is grabbing at everything....including her brother........I didn't know it started so young between siblings!!!!!

OK so I know I just updated yesterday but I just couldn't help this. Bryce loves to dance. Last night we put on the final dance segment of Step Up 2 and B got right into it. You may not be able to understand him but in this video he is asking for water on the ground like in the movie...but he will settle for a couple of squirts from the sippy cup. Enjoy..........

Aunts & Forts

We had a great weekend! Aunt Megan came down for a visit. We went running (8 Miles!!!), shopping, watched a cheesy but awesome movie, went to the pool ........all of my favorite things! Bryce was actually very upset when it came time for Megan to leave....it was so sad but kinda cute at the same time.







Travis and Bryce tried to build a fort in his room but when Bryce went to jump in it he took down the sheet and all of the books that were holding the sheet up so travis went to the store and bought one........it's so tacky and it get's pretty stinky inside but Bryce loves it.

Family.......

It's been a couple of weeks since I have posted an update so here we go! It seems at least one person has been sick in our house non-stop for about a month now.....happy summer to us! This weekend we went out to Aunt Suz's and Uncle Bill's house for a cook out. Bryce got to meet his new BFF..........Keefer.

It took some persuading but here is a new picture of Suzanne and Bill and a couple of other candid's from the visit.

Oh yeah........and Carson has gotten tired of the boring thumb and has moved on to her toes!

Firsts

So we have had a lot of firsts this week! We took Bryce to go get his first real hair cut on Tuesday. He was a bit unsure at first but did great and sat very still (though they managed to over cut his sideburns so now he looks a little country hehehehe). I still am convinced that a Mohawk is the way to go for him.



Carson is so awesome. She is such a happy baby and has been sleeping about 12 hours a night. Yesterday she rolled over from her back to her belly for the first time! We were very very excited but she seemed annoyed since she doesn't like belly time. She was also able to sit up and play in her exersaucer for the first time the other day for a while........so exciting!!!!!!!!!

Concert at the Commons

On Friday we went to the "Concert at the Commons" near our house to hear some beach music! Carson was of course named after a character from one of my favorite movies "Shag" which is about beach music so it only seemed appropriate for this to be her first concert. Well summer weather is in full force....with hot cloudless days and crazy evening storms the concert didn't last long but the kids had fun!

Bryce is really into Spiderman this week or "Pidaman" as he calls him so he was so excited to get a balloon and his face painted with spiders!

Of course Carson really just hung out so here is another glamour shot I took of her over the weekend.........
